"Oh cool, vending at a show!" has now given way to, "Oh my god, what am I going to sell?"

I'm pulling together images for print right now, but I can't figure out how many to print. I know very little about Root Division, the space, or what kind of turnout to expect. I'll find out as much as I can from the organizer, but I honestly have no idea how much inventory to take.

I ordered a bunch of mats and backing boards, which should be a good start. I need to order prints before I leave for Vegas. Which ones? How many? AIIIEEEE!

Welcome to Marketing Research!

The organizers should be able to tell you about space and turnout.
For inventory, I'd suggest that you make up ten or so of the ones that you're pricing at a 'grab it' price, and five each of the really big, more expensive ones. You also want to have a display set, which you do not sell, but can take orders for, and make up overnight and/or ship if needed. You do charge for shipping and insurance (of course) and you might offer alternate colors for mat or frame, which may include a higher charge for multilayer mat.

You'll do great. The stuff you've put online was fantastic.

I'd say get one of each matted and framed with either glass & clips or a metal frame and then take orders for those for about $300 each.

The other thing you may want to do is go to framing stores in the bay area and see if they are interested in buying some prints to frame & sell. I worked at a framing store for a couple summers in college and we had a few local artists that we did this with.
