If I'd stayed married, today would have been my 22nd wedding anniversary.

I feel bloody archaic.

As my wife and I are fond of saying, divorce is usually a good thing. It gets two people out of a situation neither of them (usually) are happy with. Of course, if kids are involved, it's a lot more complicated. Celebrate the anniversary of not being married.

Now the archaic thing, well, you're on your own.

If I'd stayed married to my first husband, we would have been married for 30 years come this August. Yikes!

Curse you for making me think about this!

Hey, we got married the same year! Mine was in July, though.

My new squeeze was 2 years old at the time, so yeah, I know what you mean about feeling archaic!

If I'd stayed married, this year would have been 10 years. If I was still married, I would probably be marking that 10 year anniversary in a mental institution.
