The Oaks has brand new green chips, which is the only thing that let me get the third full layer on during a game. It lasted just long enough to get a picture, then table motion did it in.

Chips are always round aren't they? Wouldn't square, triagle or hexagonal make better use of a sheet of plastic?

Almost always round. Occasionally very high-denomination chips are different shapes.

Round ones handle better. Dealing with them in a chip tray is extremely efficient.

And most chips are clay, not plastic. Plastic is too light.
