I was at a sushi restaurant in the Rockridge neighborhood this evening. In addition to the sushi bar and several tables, there is a small reef aquarium next to the cash register.
At some point during the meal, I looked up to find one of the staff bent over and staring intently into the tank, while simultaneously fishing around in it with long chopsticks.
I like my sushi fresh, but that might be going a bit far.
