As you may have guessed from my earlier photo, I've repurpled. It's amazing how much better I feel about the world when my hair is freshly dyed. When she pulls the towel off and the pink and purple comes cascading down, it just feels good. It still irks me that Manic Panic misspells fuchsia though. (Check out their site-- the name of the dye is Fuschia shock.)
While I was getting bleached today, my eyes wandered over to the wall o'product that every salon has. I sort of stared blankly at the panoply of well-presented boxes and bottles, but then one in particular caught my eye. It sais Kinky Chick on the front. "I don't know what that is, and I don't care. I must own it." As it turns out, it's a product of some sort that's designed for taming curly hair. I now own a bottle.
Tonight's new milestone: I saw a feature movie in a theater and had the phone number of one of the actors programmed into my cel phone. That's happened before with a movie I saw on DVD, and with several people on television shows, but I'm pretty sure this is the first time it's ever happened for something I saw in a theater. (Extras don't count.)
For the first time in a while, I'm having a significantly above-expectation month at poker. Hallelujah! I also have about a grand in Onecall gift certificates that I want to use to buy camera gear, but I can't find any gear in that range that I want. The mind boggles.
I bought a new camera bag today. It's a thing of great beauty in that it's not only better for gear than my old camera bag, but it can also carry my laptop. That means I can take both the camera and computer as carryon when I go to Vegas for the next two weekends.
