My loft smelled wonderful when I walked in the door this evening. "Clarence! You cooked me dinner! That was sweet." But all he really did was stand watch over it all day.

Crock Pot Pulled Pork

about half a cup of ketchup
about half a cup of cider vinegar (you might like a little less)
maybe about a quarter cup of worcestershire sauce
about a quarter cup of brown sugar
about a tablespoon of mustard
an onion or two, chopped
a little bit of chopped garlic
salt and pepper
a little bit of something spicy (red pepper, cayenne, whatever)
a little bit of liquid smoke

Put it all in a crock pot and mix it up. Toss in a 3 pound or so pork roast. Turn the crock pot on low and let it all cook for about eight hours. Pull the meat apart with forks and let it cook a little while longer.

The *really* easy way to do this is a bottle of barbecue sauce and a roast.

You could just use tomato paste.

What, no tamarind?

The best barbecue sauce includes tamarind.
