Subject:Photoshop for auto repair
Time:09:37 pm
I just used Photoshop as a tool for auto service. Although there were certainly alternate methods for doing what I needed to do, PS turned out to be easy, quick, and cost-effective.

Wanna guess how?

Um, someone made off with the logo thingy, and you made one on PS and glued it to the car?

License plate repair?

I know I'm reaching here, but the only "product" you could get from PS, to the best of my understanding, is something printed.

Maybe paint repair? Chrome patching? Pinstriping or other type of labeling?

Yeah, I kinda figured.

I was going to guess that you traded some PS work for car repair, but something tells me that's not it either.

I need to sleep on this one.

You used it to forge a check to your repairman.

You prepared an image to demonstrate the type of exterior repair that you wanted done.

I'm guessing you needed something nonreflective.

Nope. But there was something reflective involved before I got to the Photoshop part.

You made a new "objects in mirror are closer than they appear" decal?

You took a picture of a problem area you couldn't directly see by holding a mirror behind it. You then used Photoshop to flip the image so you could figure it out.

Photo of car engine. Photoshop a big arrow pointing to a specific spot. 30pt Impact outlined text saying "Hurtz heer!". Emailed to mechanic.
