If you're able to accommodate another little one, simplykimberly, cat foster mother extraordinaire, turns out the best, sweetest, most well-adjusted kittens ever, and she's got a bunch that will need homes soon. So does a friend of hers, who she says is wonderful.
Check out her journal for the killer cute! I've always tried to go for two kittens at once - they seem so happy that way, and they exhaust each other, so they end up all cuddle-ready.
Thank you for the note. If we had any intention of increasing our Overlord quantity, we would do pairs. We never acquire singles. We are currently transitioning from one city to another and had not intended on kittens for a while. I found this one starving in a dumpster, so I'm just trying to get her healthy enough for adoption, and then it will be back to our one old grumpy girl. In Portland, sick kitties are euthanized at any shelters and all of the rescue agencies are full. This is as much as I have to offer right now.
I don't think anyone's complaining! This one in particular is pretty adorable.
And ah, I am intimately familiar with the tear-around-the-house-for-no-good-reason times. Yesterday, Gabe went from curled up and fully asleep to ZOOM-MASTER 360!!!! in like, 1.2 seconds. It involved hurling himself onto the bookshelves and hovering there for a minute, then teleporting over to the other side of the room. (That's the only explanation I could possibly think of for why he was here one minute and then there the next.)
