So far so good. I just took my blood pressure with my shiny new blood pressure monitor, and it was 117/77. I've also gained two pounds, but I totally expected that-- stop taking diuretics, and start retaining water.

I think I'll go back to the gym tonight and do a nice easy W5D1-- run five, walk three, run five, walk three, run five. I'll see how I feel after doing that, but it might be a good place to settle in for a week or two.

Shortly after I started running, but back when I was only doing like two or three minutes at a time.

And I have his blessing to be doing it. In fact, he's extremely happy with what it's done to my blood pressure-- his quote was "Whatever you're doing, keep doing it." We've talked a bit about joint stress, soreness, etc. and he's unconcerned with anything that I've talked to him about.

At this point, I also have a cardiologist's blessing.

Excellent. Keep some form of training going. Consistency is more important than pushing your limit or doing ever-more.
