The kittens have just been relocated to the bathroom. The door is protected by a 36" board. There's a 20" tall box on the outside to help mom and dad get over-- neither one of them is a huge jumper. They can get back out through a bathtub->counter->over trajectory, or if they can't they can stay inside. Both sides are cat-habitable-- litter box, food, water-- so all should be OK.

Oh yeah. They also both seem to like dry food. Oops almost likes it better than canned-- go figure.

Are their teeth still developing? The dry food may be working like those crazy baby teething crackers do. lol.

Patti I may have missed it but have the cats been claimed to go somewhere when they are of age or are they permanent residents?

They're not permanent residents. In a couple of weeks I'll start looking for homes for them.
