I boogied out of the office early, borrowed a hammer drill from a very nice stranger on Tribe who offered to lend me his, and then headed across the bay.
On the way home, I stopped at my favorite park to fly my new kite. It was awesome! The wind was light and somewhat intermittent, but I managed to work around that nicely. It's been ten years or more since I really flew a stunt kite, and I'm rusty, but it was still fun. The only time I really got myself in trouble was when I tried an ill-advised flat spin. It spun alright... straight into the ground.
Oh well. Practice practice practice.
