One nation under a rock

Someone on my friends list was upset about the court decision this week that ruled the pledge of allegiance unconstitutional because of the words "one nation under god". I proceeded to fire up ye olde flamethrower and let him have it full blast-- as an atheist, I happen to feel very strongly about this particular matter. I attempted to be as logical and reasonable as possible, but I certainly made my feelings known.

I know that there are people of various religions on my friends list, as well as quite a few nonbelievers. My questions are for those who see nothing wrong with those words being in the pledge of allegiance.

If the pledge of allegiance read, "one nation under Allah", "one nation under Satan", "one nation under Gaia", or something similar, would you be comfortable saying the pledge? Would you want your (possibly-hypothetical) children to say it in school? Would you be comfortable with it being the official pledge of the US?
