Wow. Simply wow.

I just got back from Vegas, where I had a third-row seat to watch the final table of the World Series of Poker. My friend (and horse) Greg Raymer went to the final table with a significant chip lead, maintained that lead wire-to-wire, and took down the $5,000,000 first prize.

Watching Greg win was amazing, but chatting about the tournament with him before and after the tournament was even moreso... he had a rock solid understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of every other player at the table. JP, Greg and I had lunch together just before the finaal table started, and Greg told us exactly how each and every player would behave at the final table, and what his strategy would be against each one. Wow.

The thing that impressed me most was that Greg never seemed to lose his calm, and he always seemed to maintain a solid focus.

I also got a pretty sweet little payday out of it!
