Individual peach crisps

This is buried in a comment on another entry... here it is for anyone who didn't read that far.


1 piece of big fruit (apple, peach) or the equivalent amount of a smaller fruit

1 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp flour
2 Tbsp quick oats
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon

Lightly grease a ramekin. Slice the fruit and fill the ramekin with it.

Melt the butter. Combine it with the other ingredients and mix until it's crumbly. Pour over the top of the fruit.

Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes.

This is an incredibly forgiving recipe. Last night I decided there was no way I wanted to use a tablespoon of butter, so I cut that down to about a teaspoon, and then used a little bit of liquid to help make the mixture hold together.
