(no subject)

I never thought I'd be this happy about being in the office, but it's nice to be on the road to (my particular flavor of) normal.

I'm not sure if this is getting better or not

Doctor's orders: eat whatever you want to. Your body will generally tell what you should be eating, and if it's bad for you, you won't want it.

So I came home from work tonight and took a nap, and while I was laying there sort of half asleep I found myself thinking, "I could go for a Big Mac."

So I had one. With fries. This is basically the first red meat, the first fried food, and absolutley the first fast food that I've had in over six weeks. My stomach isn't upset yet, which is a good sign. OTOH, I don't think I'm going to eat this stuff regularly, even if I can. Yuck.

On the way home from Fry's tonight, I saw the most stunningly beautiful sunset I've ever seen in California. The entire horizon was liquid fire, and the clouds were an amazing array of reds and oranges and pinks and blues, in every direction I looked.
