I smiled and thanked her, and she reached out to touch my ponytail. "It's lovely. When I was young, we used to have these little colorful wigs that we'd wear. Today kids just dye their hair those colors."
"You could dye yours, you know."
"Sure, why not!"
She just chuckled, and we went our separate ways.
