It hurt so much I was barely able to shift, but I got the bike into second gear and kept it there the whole way home. Stop signs got California stops, so that I didn't have to put weight on my foot.
By the time I got home it wasn't nearly as bad. I could walk on it with only a bit of a limp. And now, a few hours later, there's almost no limp at all and just a bit of residual soreness. Whew!
I went to the Legend of the Motorcycle show over the weekend-- it was a huge bike show in Half Moon Bay, with hundreds upon hundreds of classic bikes, some over a hundred years old! I initially balked at the $65 admission fee, but it turned out to be massively worth it. I have dozens of pictures in the Legend of the Motorcycle pool on Flickr.
The new job is good, if busy. It's a good place for me, and I'm having fun cramming my brain full of knowledge. The product is way cool. Very shortly the pressure is going to be high.
How do you define love?
