Yay net access! I'm in the Denver airport.
While visiting Cuivre River state park near Troy, Missouri, I noticed that the river was incredibly smooth and reflective. When I turned my head to the left, I discovered that the trees on the opposite bank cast truly awesome reflections on the water. I couldn't resist-- I shot dozens of shots.
When I accidentally kicked a branch, I had an idea. I tossed it into the water, and then raised the camera while I waited for the ripples to propagate across the surface.
This is one of the resulting images. Unfortunately, the thumbnail doesn't really let you see the ripples-- click on it to view it larger.
