Kid in a candy store

The independent video store in my boss's neighborhood is going out of business, and started selling off their inventory at noon today. He and I decided to go out to lunch and then swing by the store to see what we could find.

I'd never been in the store, but it focused heavily on independent and foreign films, and not so much on popular stuff. It looked like a wonderful place, and it's a shame to see it go.

So I'm checking out with my $120 worth of movies (at $4/each), and someone comes in to return a rental. I looked over eagerly. "Oooh! What is it?"

The cashier just looked at me and said, "I don't know, but you wouldn't want it." I laughed. "It's amazing how well you can get to know someone just by looking at their movies. I guarantee you wouldn't want her returns."
