I've been consistently platinum for a few months now... ever since UIGEA was signed and I got booted from party. I sent them nice email asking if there was anything I could do, since I barely missed it. If they won't cut me some slack when I had 99xx VPP, and it's a 28-day month, I'm going to be seriously grumpy.
I have enough FPP right now to get $800 in onecall.com gift certificates. The next thing on my shopping list is a $1500 lens. I love the Stars "buy Patti professional camera gear" program.
Yeah, I enjoyed Full Tilt's "send Mike+family to Universal Studios in Spain for a week" deal last year. Oh and the "Buy Mike's EOS 400D with some of what's left over" deal was good too.
I ground my way to Gold in Jan to convert my FPPs into Amazon certs. This month I started out to maintain it, came to the conclusion that either (a) I was playing really badly (likely) or (b) the competition had moved up a level and I was no longer slightly +EV (possible) or (c) both. So I stopped chasing stuff I wasn't sure I needed and whoops, I'm back to Bronze. Poor but happy.
Heh, the games always seem to be a little better the first few days of the month, and I always attributed it to the getting-the-status impetus. Guess the last few days should be better due to the slackers-getting-the-status impetus... :)
