Dear lazyweb: Fix my 'fridge

My (relatively new... maybe two years old) refrigerator is making an obnoxious buzzing noise. Every few minutes it makes this noise for about ten seconds or so, then shuts up, until a few minutes later when it repeats the process. It seems to correspond to something (compressor? fan?) turning on and off, not surprisingly. Other than that, it seems to be working just fine.

Should I take it apart and see if I can find something loose or otherwise obviously not-right, or just punt and call a repairman?

Edit: It might not be fine after all. I just pulled something out of the freezer for dinner, and things weren't frozen although they appear to have been so fairly recently. I know the freezer was fine last night. I *think* I might have just not closed it all the way (it's a bottom freezer, drawer-style) and let all the cold fall out, but I'm not sure. It feels like it's producing cold, though. I took everything out and stuck an ice cube tray in to see if it freezes or not.
