Two Great Tastes That Taste Great Together, part deux

A little while ago, I wrote about the Vosges bacon chocolate bar. It's not bad, but it has a a few issues. For one thing, it's milk chocolate. For another, my coworkers and I all agree that it doesn't have enough bacon.

Tonight I decided to try doing better. I started here, but decided I could do better. The result: glazed oven-crisped bacon twists with Belgian bittersweet chocolate. The verdict? Unclear. I sampled too much of the bacon while I was cooking, so my judgment is off. It's definitely better than the Vosges bar. I'll try it again tomorrow and see what I think.
