My wrists and shoulders have been killing me for weeks. The ice, ibuprofen, rest as much as possible (but not as much as I should) drill has helped a bit, but not as much as I would like.

I think I've finally figured it out, or a big part of it... I'm sleeping badly. When I force myself to sleep on my back, I wake up with the arm and shoulder feeling much better. I'm sure it's a combination of RSI and pinching something while I sleep, but it's good to have found a change that actually helps.

Speaking of RSI, I've been on an online poker hiatus for a couple of weeks because I wanted to rest my arms. Recently I decided that I couldn't take it anymore, and set up keyboard macros so that I could play without touching the mouse (much). Hoo boy am I happy about that! I really should have done this years ago, but I'm such a luddite.

It looks like the disturbingly low appraisal didn't hurt my refinance, or not much-- I close on Monday. I think that the appraisal may have cost me like an eighth of a point (in points not interest rate), but that's so low that I can't be bothered to care.

Today was bee-yeautiful in San Francisco-- sunny and mid-70s. A bunch of us walked down to the waterfront at lunch and sat in the sun while we had tasty Filipino food. I could use more days like that.

Mono Restaurant seems to be thriving-- every time I come home there's a lively crowd having dinner. Yay! I smile every time I look in.
