Holiday stuff

This morning I went to UPS to ship my christmas presents to St. Louis, a.k.a. paying my procrastination tax. This usually involves a conversation about whether or not second day air will get there on time, or whether I need to ship overnight, and my handing over a crisp $100 bill.

Today the guy behind the counter typed in some stuff, and asked me if I wanted to ship it ground. "No, it has to be there by christmas eve."

"If it's sent ground it will get there Tuesday the 23rd."

And I got change back from my $10 bill!

This is tres cool: you can create your own snowflake at ... they also have a gallery of the snowflakes that others have created.
