Dear Dell

Thank you for your kind letter, which I received via post this evening. While I sincerely appreciate your reaching out to me in this way, I must regretfully decline your offer to extend my warranty for an additional three years beyond the original year that was included with the purchase of the computer. You see, I am good at both math and logic, and I recognize that spending $190 to extend the warranty on a machine that cost less than twice that sum is, in fact, an appallingly bad deal.
