It's rare but not entirely unheard-of for a photographer to eat her subject when she is done shooting. I have no idea how this will turn out on film, but it was kinda fun on digital. If I was inclined to pursue this line of shooting then I would work to get more shadow definition in the tops of the ridges. In reality, an hour or so of playing with this theme is probably my upper limit. If I wasn't shooting for black and white (which this image isn't quite), it would be fun to play with colored lights.
I live so deeply in color that thinking in black and white is a real challenge for me.
I also did one on film that's a little bit like this, but better done. About half of the image (diagonally) is piled, and the other half trails off into individual grains. I hope it turns out.
