I went to the gym tonight after an extended absence from running, my plan was to do C25K week 3 day 1, which is alternating 1.5 and 3 minute runs. A nice gentle welcome back, right?
When I got to the treadmill I decided to just run as long as I felt like running, expecting that to be 3-5 minutes. The best laid plans... at 18 minutes I decided to push to 20, just to get to the round number.
Defense: it was a very slow run.
Defense the second: because I could.
Good news: I'm still alive.
Unknown news: tomorrow morning.
I feel like I did a little too much, but I should be OK. Except for the last two minutes of pushing a little bit, I never felt like I was overdoing it. Nothing exceeds like excess, right?
